Welcome to the Economics Department Home Page. Here you will find various resources to help you over the duration of the course. Included are the worksheets which you will need to complete each week (generally during a study centre session). These will then be gone through in class. To assist you with their completion and with revision for tests, mocks and real exams, there are a set of revision sheets, broken down by topic. There are links to your exam board's specification and also some more general links. These are all to be found on the sidebar to your left. Other help is available from your teachers, who will be very pleased to answer any questions you may have either in or out of class. Alternatively your Head of Department, Simon Harrison is always happy to answer questions at almost any time. His office is on the ground floor of the Swan building (113), and teaching room is Swan 113 room 11. In general, success is directly linked with work. If you complete all of the work you are set, making as much effort as you can, then you are pretty much guaranteed an 'A' or a 'B'. This means, however, thinking about the work, looking for help rather than just giving up and most importantly thinking about the feedback you are given on work and applying the advice at the next opportunity you get. |
